HSB Safety Bumpers
Our safety bumpers employ force break contact technology, allowing them to connect directly to standard safety relays without requiring special control units.
Each safety bumper consists of a rubber-foam cushion with an embedded Contact Chain®, typically covered with a high-abrasion, elastic polyurethane surface. For harsh environments, customised materials and solutions are also available.

- No additional control unit required
- Direct connection to existing E-stop relay units
In applications where power-operated devices have long stopping times due to inertia—such as large doors (e.g., hangar doors), automatically guided vehicles (AGVs), or theatre stages—standard safety edges may not provide adequate protection. For these situations, safety bumpers are used.
